DESERT FILM SOCIETY presents THE FINISHERS

17-year-old Julien suffers from congenital palsy and is confined to a wheelchair. He lives with his parents, Paul and Claire in a beautiful village in the French Alps. But Paul loses his job repairing ski lifts and becomes bitter and self-pitying. Julien suggests that he and his father enter the Riviera Ironman race, which is held every year in and around Nice. After some hesitation, Paul agrees.
