El Paseo Fashion Week Kicks Off

The 10th annual El Paseo Fashion Week starts Saturday, with a reception and the first of eight nightly fashion shows featuring the works of top designers.

The event aims to showcase new collections by top designers and fresh ideas from emerging designers, organizers said.

Produced by Palm Springs Life, last year’s event drew more than 12,100 visitors and generated an economic impact to the region estimated at nearly $3 million.

Saturday’s activities begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m., at the Runway Tent, erected on Larkspur Lane, between El Paseo and Shadow Mountain.
