Fire Damages Rancho Mirage Home

A fire that started in a chimney damaged a home in Rancho Mirage this morning, but there were no reports of injuries.

Firefighters were sent at 7:16 a.m. to the single-story home in the 10 block of Pebble Beach Drive, Riverside County fire spokeswoman April Newman said.

There was no immediate word on the extent of the damage.
