Hundreds of Toys Donated by Local Students
Each Christmas season, students at the Marywood-Palm Valley School lend their time and talents to collect donated toys.
Students at Marywood-Palm Valley School collected and gave out hundreds of toys for the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center in Rancho Mirage this week.
The toys were given out at the annual Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center Client Christmas Party.
“The 2011 party was extremely special thanks to the generosity and efforts of the students at the Marywood-Palm Valley School,” observed Kelly Thordsen, Development Director at the Sinatra Center. “We had a room full of smiling faces. Christmas was indeed brighter because of the good works done by Marywood-Palm Valley.”

The seventh grade class at Marywood-Palm Valley brought the toys to the Sinatra Center.

“Their generous spirit and enthusiasm make this a success each year," said Barbara Klein who oversees the students’ efforts. "Everyone associated with Marywood-Palm Valley is proud of their hard work and dedication to helping make Christmas a little brighter for children in our valley.”
