Indio Motorcyclist ID'd In Fatal Palm Springs Crash

The deadly crash occurred late Sunday afternoon during the Super Bowl.

PALM SPRINGS, CA —A motorcyclist who died in Palm Springs Sunday evening was identified by the Riverside County Coroner's Office.

Chase Adamic, 33 of Indio, died at the intersection of East Ramon Road and South Avenida Caballeros, according to the coroner's report.

Palm Springs Police and Fire Departments arrived shortly before 4:45 to find a motorcycle and passenger van had collided, according to the Palm Springs Fire Department.

The driver of the passenger van was uninjured, authorities said. The cause of the crash was under investigation, with that intersection closed until shortly after 10 p.m.
