The City of La Quinta and the La Quinta Public Library are proud to announce a special opportunity for the media and public to step into the future and preview a new work station called Creation Station – La Quinta’s MakersSpace.

City of La Quinta residents and visitors will have a unique opportunity to learn about state-of-the-art technology including laser cutting, 3D printing, textiles and electronics located in this special dedicated area of the La Quinta Public Library.

The free Meet and See event taking place on Monday, July 30 at the library from 3-6, not only will offer a sneak preview of the station’s equipment, it will also provide key information about amenities, classes and future memberships.

The mayor of La Quinta, Linda Evans, along with several members of the City Council, will be on hand to greet guests at 4:00 PM.
