Leftover Cuties to Wrap Palm Desert Fall Concert Series

The concert series finale means the return of food trucks to Civic Center Park.

PALM DESERT, CA — Palm Desert celebrates the conclusion of its free Fall Concerts in the Park at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, with a live performance by Leftover Cuties.

A quartet that combines female vocals, ukulele, upright bass, horns, keys, accordion, and drums, Leftover Cuties’ unique and heartwarming indie pop sound gained acclaim when the band’s tune “Game Called Life” was chosen as the opening theme for Showtime’s hit series The Big C. Their music has been featured on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic and in a variety of ad campaigns for brands including Samsung, Hyundai, and Ikea.

Known for their magical live performances, Leftover Cuties has shared the stage with celebrated artists including Alabama Shakes, Matisyahu, Foxes, Shelby Lynne, and others.

The concert series finale means the return of food trucks to Civic Center Park. Concertgoers are encouraged to sample the trucks’ mouthwatering mobile culinary creations or bring picnic baskets along with blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the shows. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.

Family YMCA of the Desert will once again be leading children’s games and activities before the concert. The City extends its thanks to the Desert Recreation District for its support of this year’s Fall Concert Series.
