Palm Desert High School Cleans Up For Cuss Free Week
Palm Desert High School faculty, staff and the Parent Teacher Organization plan to take a pledge to keep their mouths clean for "Cuss Free Week."

Palm Desert High School's No Cussing Club is urging fellow students and the entire Coachella Valley to take a pledge to clean up their language next week.
The group of 30 students, which formed last year under teacher Ossil Macavinta, is creating a video to encourage high school students across the nation to take the “No Cussing Challenge."
"Our goal is to be the first and only cuss-free high school campus in the Coachella Valley and beyond," Macavinta told Patch.

Last year, the Palm Desert City Council declared March 5-9 "," in honor of the club's efforts.
Robert Hicks, the principal at Palm Desert High School, has already pledged, along with his administrative team, teaching faculty, classified staff, and the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), to be cuss free for the entire week.
