Palm Desert HS Baseball to CIF Semifinals

Aztec work late in 14 inning win Friday, then win coin flip to host their CIF Division 4 Semifinal game.

Palm Desert High's basebal team is back in the CIF-Southern Section Divison 4 semifinals, but it took some work on Tuesday in Anaheim.

The Aztecs defeated Savanna 4-3 in 14 innings to earn the right to face Monrovia on tuesday, with a berth in the CIF Championship at stake.

Palm Desert won a coin flip this morning at the CIF offices and will host the game at Aztec Field.  Game time is TBA.
