Rancho Mirage Art Festival Scheduled This Weekend

The art festival will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

More than 100 artists from the western United States will sell and display their work at the Art Affaire in Rancho Mirage this weekend.

The art festival will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Rancho Mirage Community Park, 71560 San Jacinto Drive. Paintings, jewelry, blown glass, sculptures, ceramics and wood works will be featured.

“It’s where I find all my birthday and holiday gifts for my family and friends. I love meeting the artists, who are all so creative,” said Rancho Mirage Mayor Iris Smotrich.

Children’s activities, food, sweets, beer and wine will also be offered. Jazz and funk guitarist Nick Colionne, keyboardist Jeff Lorber and his band, and local high school musicians will perform in the afternoons.
