College of the Desert is teaching local kids engineering and math through robot building

College of the Desert will be offering local middle school students the chance to learn robotics at the second of its three-camp series in Palm Desert.
COD's free Youth Robotics Camps, now in their fourth year, teach the STEM topics (science, technology, engineering and math) through the use of teamwork and culminating in the building of a robot.
After the final camp in Palm Springs, a Science and Technology Festival will be hold at Westfeld Palm Desert on August 11th.
