Want to be a Lawyer in the Desert?
People can learn about legal professions, career options, and how to get a law degree at an event tonight in Indio.

The California Desert Trial Academy College of Law, scheduled to open in the Coachella Valley next year, is hosting an informational meeting at the Larson Justice Center law library in Indio this evening.
"So You Want To Be A Lawyer'' is set for 6 p.m. in the library at 46200 Oasis St. in Indio.
People can learn about legal professions, career options, and how to get a law degree. High school and college students interested in going to law school, those working in other fields interested in a legal education, and anyone else in the community can attend, school spokeswoman Irene Dolan said.

California Desert Trial Academy College of Law will offer bar-tested
academic subjects, and qualify students to take the state bar examination after four years, Dolan said.
