Humanist Community in Silicon Valley Sunday Morning Forum: Changing the Criminal Justice System - Mission Impossible?

Retired Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge LaDoris Cordell will talk very personally about her experience on the bench and her efforts to change/improve the system. The first African American to hold that position, Judge Cordell served on the bench for 19 years and served for 8 years as Special Counselor to the President for Campus Relations at Stanford. She has been an on-camera legal analyst for CBS-5 television and Court TV, as well as a Palo Alto City Councilperson.  After a national search, she was recently appointed Independent Police Auditor for the City of San Jose.
