Sand Hill School at Children’s Health Council is a private school offering a personalized learning environment for children who are bright but who are struggling in a conventional classroom.
Specializing in early support for struggling learners, Sand Hill School teachers collaborate with Children’s Health Council’s specialists to create the path for each student’s successful transition to a traditional classroom. Sand Hill School serves grades K-3, limits class size to 10 students and offers two teachers for every classroom as well as in-classroom support from Children’s Health Council’s child development specialists. Specialists may include: educational specialists, art therapists, behavior specialists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and more.
