The Bay Area Bird Photographers Meeting

October's presenter is  Ron Fredrick, who has had a lifelong interest in birds but didn't start photographing them until 2006.

A majority of the photos he will show were taken within a 30-mile radius of the Lucy Evans Baylands Interpretive Center, from cormorants catching fish on Shoreline Lake to Great Blue Herons stalking gophers and voles in the open fields of Rancho San Antonio.

Admission is free with membership, includes receiving a newsletter the week before each meeting and the right to participate in a rotating photo display at the Interpretive Center. Only one membership is required per household.
