Good Morning, Commuters: Inoperative Train Causing Caltrain Delays
Crews removed it from tracks. Delays persist. [Breaking]

PALO ALTO, CA – UPDATE 8:20 a.m.: A broken-down train has been cleared from tracks at the Palo Alto station but delays for Caltrain commuters are persisting this morning, Caltrain officials said.

7:59 a.m.: There are major delays for Caltrain commuters this morning because of a broken-down train at the Palo Alto station, Caltrain officials said.

The problem was reported at about 7 a.m. when northbound train No. 305 had mechanical issues at Palo Alto. Trains are single tracking through the area as crews work on removing it from the tracks, Caltrain officials
said.
Delays are persisting this morning.
