Victim Held At Gunpoint In Peninsula Home-Invasion Robbery

BREAKING: The three intruders in black hoodies came in through an unlocked door in Hillsborough, police said.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA – A Hillsborough resident was the victim of an armed home-invasion robbery late Wednesday night, police said.

The resident in the area of Marlborough and Whitwell roads called police at 11:48 p.m. to report that they had been held at gunpoint while two other people stole their property.

Police described the suspects as three men wearing black hooded sweatshirts and gloves. They got into the home through an open garage door and an unlocked interior door.

Police said they have several leads and they are asking anyone who may have more information about the robbery to call the Police Department at (650) 375-7470.

Police are also asking any residents in the area who have a video surveillance system to review the system for evidence and share that with police.
