Have you or someone you know participated&nbsp;in one of the memorable 60 years of Palos Verdes&nbsp;Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebrations? <a href="https://www.pvjuly4.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">www.PVJuly4.org</a>&nbsp;You may have baked an apple pie for the contest, decorated a bike with streamers, shepherded your child along the parade route, attended the puppet show, written a school essay, or even been a winner. Generations have picnicked while listening to the live music and sung along to The Star-Spangled Banner or run a three-legged race with siblings, parents or friends. You may have laughed, cheered or been moved to tears by guest&nbsp; speakers from Jimmy Stewart to SpaceX COO Gwynne Shotwell, Marvel’s Stan Lee, Tommy Lasorda and LA Mayor Richard Riordan. Apple Pie Bakers&nbsp;must enter their pie between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30. 1st place winner receives a live apple tree from Bennett Landscape &amp; a blue ribbon, 2nd and 3rd&nbsp;place receive ribbons. All participants receive a gift card from Hof's Hut.
