Coronavirus In Palos Verdes Estates: 57 Cases

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA — Health officials Wednesday reported 2,496 new COVID-19 cases across Los Angeles County along with 19 more deaths.

There are 57 reported cases in Palos Verdes Estates and two reported deaths, according to Los Angeles County health officials Wednesday.

Last week, there were 50 reported cases in Palos Verdes Estates and one reported death, according to county health officials.

The virus is spiking statewide, with Los Angeles County seeing record numbers for new coronavirus cases.

In Santa Monica, a worker at a Whole Foods Market on Montana Avenue tested positive for COVID-19.

In Culver City, eight police department employees also tested positive.
