Equestrians Remember Teen Car Crash Victim

Equestrians gathered Saturday for a memorial gymkhana to remember Annamay Naef, a local teen killed last year in a car crash.

student Naef, 16, died in an early morning crash Oct. 5 in Rolling Hills Estates. Naef was a passenger in a car driven by another Peninsula High student when the car hit a pole as they headed to school.

The community later gathered for a to remember Naef.

Saturday's events were held at the and featured various games on horseback. The event's proceeds will go to the Peppertree Foundation and Ride to Fly, Naef's favorite charity.
