Ciné-Monde: Global Cinema at the Peninsula Center Library
Rolling Hills Estates, CA –Join us for PVLD’s Ciné-Monde, a film series featuring notable films from around the globe, independent American cinema and documentaries. Our next film showing will be at 5:30pm, Thursday, May 10 in the Peninsula Center Library Community Room. This event is free and open to the public. Following the film, there may be a brief discussion facilitated by the coordinator of the series.
About the film: Deeply human drama set in a township near Johannesburg, South Africa with a 12 year old girl taking on the heart wrenching task of keeping her family together in the face of hardship, rumor and community upheaval.
