Free Tea At Starbucks In Palos Verdes Today

PALOS VERDES, CA — Start your weekend off right with a free tall tea at Starbucks today between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. The Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusions contain tea, fruit and botanical blends, slightly sweetened with liquid cane sugar, according to Starbucks.

Product developers Melynda Cheng and Megan Droz came up with the idea to mix teas with other teas after thinking of how many other tea combinations are already out there: tea cocktails, tea-smoked duck, green tea ice cream, etc., according to Starbucks.

“You get more of a true tea experience when you flavor green, white or black tea with herbal tea made from botanicals and fruit,” said Cheng on the Starbucks website.

These new shaken iced teas are made without artificial flavors and sweeteners and are only 45 calories for a Grande-sized (16 fluid-ounce) beverage. Flavors include pineapple black tea, peach citrus white tea, and strawberry green tea.
