Pair Steals $3,000 in Perfume During Abercrombie & Fitch Strong-Arm Robbery, Police Say

Two men were arrested Friday for allegedly committing a series of strong-arm robberies throughout the South Bay.

Two men described by authorities as South Los Angeles gang members were facing felony robbery charges today after their arrests on suspicion of stealing $3,000 worth of perfume from a Rolling Hills Estates Abercrombie & Fitch store.

The suspects entered the store about 7:30 p.m. on April 8 and allegedly “threatened a store employee with physical harm if he attempted to intervene,” according to a statement from the Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lomita Station.

“Similar incidents were reported in the cities of Lakewood, Redondo Beach and Santa Monica,” according to the statement. “During each incident, bits and pieces of evidence, including witness statements, were collected.”
