• For a Good Cause: The South Bay artist who painted underwater (dailybreeze.com) — Rancho Palos Verdes' Terranea Resort, built on the former Marineland site, recently hosted the launch of a new foundation honoring underwater painter Addison Loomis. His son is using vivid reproductions of those rare Marineland-era works to inspire kids, promote ocean conservation, and raise funds for Southern California marine mammal rescue organizations.
