Join the Point Vicente Chapter DAR at their monthly Chapter Mtg. The DAR is the world's largest non-political women's volunteer organization
Functional Illiteracy is a major social problem facing our cities, counties, state and nation. Christine Campisi of the South Bay Literacy Council will give a presentation on “Illiteracy in our Community”. The public (age 18 and over) is invited to attend. This meeting will be held in a private home.

We invite the public to meet the women of the Point Vicente Chapter DAR. They are local women of our community who accomplish philanthropic works (historic preservation, patriotism, promoting children’s education) while serving as members in the DAR. The DAR is celebrating its 125th Anniversary.
