Roadwork Starts In Palos Verdes Today

PALOS VERDES, CA – Beginning today, major roadwork is expected along Miraleste Drive over the next two weeks. The work will include roadway grinding, placing new pavement, and leveling the course. Starting August 21, installation of the asphalt concrete dike and sidewalk will begin, followed by final paving which is scheduled between August 24 and August 26.

The bulk of the construction work is anticipated to be completed before the start of school on Monday, August 28. Ancillary work on the roadsides will continue through August and into early September but will not affect school-related traffic, according to a message form the City of Palos Verdes.
