SONOMA COUNTY, CA – One person has died in a head-on collision between a big-rig and a Chevrolet in unincorporated Sonoma County near Petaluma this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened around 3:45 p.m. on Adobe Road halfway between Frates and Casa Grande roads, the CHP said.
The collision shut down Old Adobe Road in both directions from Frates Road to Casa Grande Road.

The Sonoma County coroner's office was called to the scene at 4:15 p.m.
