$5K Reward Offered In Carl Stark Homicide: Sheriff
An anonymous donor made a contribution that doubled the amount of a reward offered for information in the teen's killing near Petaluma.

PETALUMA, CA — The reward for information in the killing last month of a Penngrove teenager has increased to $5,000, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate the killing of Carl Stark, 17, which happened at 10:02 p.m. Thursday, June 11 in the 400 block of Browns Lane in unincorporated Petaluma, according to the sheriff's office.
An anonymous donor made a contribution that doubled the initial reward amount of $2,500 offered through the Sonoma County Alliance "Take Back Our Community" program.

"The reward is for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in the murder of Mr. Stark," the sheriff's office said. "Call us at 707-565-2185 if you have any information about his murder."
In a previous social media post, the sheriff's office said it was not interested in hearing about underage partying happening that night; its only interest was in solving the homicide to help bring closure to Stark's family.
