<h1>Equality Vines Wine &amp; Donate Benefitting SFM A Summer Gathering for Good</h1>
<h2>Saturday, August 15 | 4-7pm Equality Vines, Guerneville</h2><h2>Join us this summer for a relaxed afternoon of wine, food, and community with Equality Vines and Sonoma Family Meal - non-ticketed and open to all - in support of expanding food security and tuition-free culinary training programs in Sonoma County.</h2>
<h2>Sip with a purpose as Equality Vines donates 15% of all wine sales, plus $5 for every bottle of Familia Tempranillo sold, to Sonoma Family Meal. SFM's SABOR food truck will be onsite serving up fresh, globally-inspired food for purchase, and guests can enjoy opportunities to learn about Sonoma Family Meal’s work, participate in a raffle, and connect over a shared commitment to community.</h2>
<h2>Come sip, savor, and support - And see how doing good can taste good too!</h2>
Sonoma Family Meal is a local nonprofit employment social enterprise that has worked to nourish the community and strengthen the local food ecosystem since the tragic 2017 wildfires that left many people displaced and food-insecure. Today, our two kitchens provide over 7,000 meals to those in need each month, while addressing food insecurity at the root through tuition-free culinary training programs that create opportunity and economic empowerment for low-income individuals facing barriers to employment or access to education.

<h4>About Six String Mixtape</h4>

What we play: We’re an acoustic guitar duo that plays crisp instrumentals of classic rock, blues, R&amp;B and contemporary favorites.
Our vibe: We don’t aim to take over a venue, but will fill the air with familiar favorites and ease the space between breaks in conversations over a few cold ones. We’ll undoubtedly play something that’ll catch your ear and get you tapping your toes.
How we got started: During the pandemic, the need for an outlet was crucial. Long time friends Phil and Brian started to meet up to play music from an Oakland neighborhood patio that overlooked an active walkway for dog walkers, bike riders, and those just stretching their legs from a day of work. Over time it turned into a neighborhood destination as it grew in popularity. The goal was to create a safe atmosphere for people (especially those missing the temporarily closed live music scene) to blow off steam and have a cold one. We’ve now played many breweries in the greater East Bay Area including Oakland United Beerworks, Epidemic Ales, Blue Ocean Brewing, Half Moon Bay Brewing Co., and Morgan Territory Brewing, and hope to add many more!

Join us for another amazing cooking class with <a href="https://www.sonomaspicequeen.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Sonoma Spice Queen</a>, learning all about how to create a spice-forward summer spread for your outdoor, hot-weather gatherings and celebrations.
Sonoma Spice Queen was started by spice enthusiast and culinary adventurer Wind McAlister, who also happens to be a huge Sonoma Family Meal supporter (and our neighbor). Through her love of cooking and cultural exploration, Wind offers hand-crafted organic spice mixes and rubs, with no fillers, salt, or sugar, and is excited to be back to teach a second class in benefit of Sonoma Family Meal. 
This hands-on, collaborative cooking class will last 2.5 hours, with time to enjoy your meal together at the end. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just starting out, our classes offer a fun, engaging learning environment, while raising funds for Sonoma Family Meal’s free culinary job training and food-security programs.
If you haven’t been to the SFM Kitchen yet, this class is also the perfect chance to visit and experience where the magic takes place and how the work gets done.
