Volunteers Needed at Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center

Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center is seeking caring, dependable volunteers for our Fall Session, which runs from August 29th through December 7th.

Giant Steps is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives through the power of horses, teamwork, and community. Through our equine assisted programs, people of all ages and abilities experience the incredible benefits that come from therapeutic riding.

Volunteers are needed Tuesday through Saturday, between 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with a minimum commitment of 1.5 hours per shift. Volunteers support riders during therapeutic riding lessons by leading horses or walking alongside riders, helping to create a safe and supportive environment.

No prior horse experience is needed, as all new volunteers will go through our Volunteer Orientation, located at Giant Steps, on August 20th, from 5:30–8:00 p.m.
