Cynthia Ermshar mentoring Adam Harwood

Great story of Cynthia Ermshar mentoring Adam Harwood during his Senior Project at Casa Grande High School in Petaluma.

Adam Harwood of Petaluma recently had a Senior Class project at Casa Grande High School that focused on working with the Petaluma Senior Center and set up a Holiday Cheer program for the seniors in Petaluma.

Adam reached out to Cynthia Ermshar, a local Senior advocate and Memory Care professional in Petaluma, to be his mentor. They joined forces and Adam embarked on finishing his Senior project with Cynthia’s guidance.

In Adam’s own words: “I grew up in Petaluma with my mom, dad, and older brother, Tyler. As a kid I can remember back to when my grandma would look after my brother and I and the days we would spend with her at the senior center making crafts. She helped me make many great memories with those summers I spent with her, as well as gave me the opportunity to meet many people with fantastic tales from their childhoods. The seniors gave me great wisdom and reminded me never to take advantage of another person and to relish every moment you get to see people.”
