Does She Look Familiar? Woman Linked To Handbag Stolen From Supermarket: Police
Cops say she entered an employee area at Safeway on South McDowell Boulevard in Petaluma.
PETALUMA, CA – Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a woman involved in a petty theft at a store in Petaluma on Tuesday evening.
According to police, the woman entered the storage area behind a Safeway grocery store located at 389 S. McDowell Blvd. just after 6 p.m. Tuesday and stole an employee's purse.
Police said the woman then left the store and fled in an unknown direction. The victim told police she did know her purse had been stolen until several hours afterward.

Surveillance footage was able to capture a picture of the suspect, who was described as a white woman around 20-25 years old who weighs 100-120 pounds and has long dark hair. She was last seen wearing a red colored dress.
