Earthquake Near Santa Rosa Jolts North Bay
BREAKING: The earthquake was recorded at 5:45 a.m. — Did YOU feel it?

SANTA ROSA, CA— A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck Santa Rosa at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The earthquake was centered 1.3 miles east-southeast of Santa Rosa and struck 5.8 miles below the earth's surface.
It was felt throughout in Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Cotati and Healdsburg and throughout Sonoma County and the North Bay, as well as in South San Francisco — some 55 miles away from the epicenter, the USGS said.

No injuries or damages were immediately reported in the quake.

According to the USGS, the earthquake struck along the Rodgers Creek Fault.
The 2003 Working Group for California Earthquake Probability assigned a 27 percent probability that the Hayward-Rodgers Creek Fault system would produce a magnitude 6.7 or larger earthquake in the next 30 years.
