For students going in to 4th, 5th and 6th grade in the 2012/13 school year.
The trained summer staff from Mt. Cross Bible Camp bring a week-long"taste" of summer camp to Elim Lutheran Church for one week this summer. Day Camp activities include Bible encounters, games, music, crafts, worship and community building activities like team building and service projects.
We begin the day each morning at 9:00am with songs and opening worship. The activities are geared toward active and developing upper-elementary students. There is time for running around as well as discussion and reflection - all at a pace that suits this particular group of students. Campers bring their own sack lunches and are given a healthy morning snack to sustain their day. Camp ends at 3:00pm when everyone goes home to get a good night's rest for the next day.
