Join us for a special opportunity to learn architectural design, drawing and model making from Mary Dooley, the architect for the Petaluma Arts Center. First, discover what architects do, see some examples of great architecture and get design tips for building your own structure. Start with pencil, paper and straight edges to draw the plan and elevation views. Then turn your drawings into a 3D model using traditional model making materials such as foam core, chipboard and balsa wood, glue guns and exacto knives. By the end of the week, working as a team, we will assemble all of our models and create a brand new town.
