Thanks so much to everyone who helped us, especially those who were scanning the web with us all day.

From Brett Battenberg late Monday, Feb. 9:

We got our baby back!! I can’t thank my friends, family and the whole dang town of Petaluma enough. I think it’s absolutely terrible that someone would do this to us and STEAL someone’s pet, but all we can do now is be thankful and feel blessed that everyone was so on point about getting the word out.

From Kimmy Morgenstern on Monday, Feb. 9, 9:33 a.m.:

PETALUMANS PLEASE HELP!!!

Our dog, Gunner, was taken from where he was tied up outside of the Thrifty Hippy store on Petaluma Blvd yesterday around 4 p.m.

If you have any info please please contact Brett Battenberg or Sara Beth on Facebook or call 954-822-0846.

We are absolutely desperate and need all of the help we can get!!! Thank you for anything you can do to help.

UPDATE: Monday, Feb. 9, 11:33 a.m.

We have a lead on the person who took Gunner from us!! A witness saw a tallish man (maybe just under 6’) running across Washington street with Gunner around 4pm.

He was wearing an oversized army green jacket and a hat. He crossed Washington near the crosswalk close to Petaluma Blvd. and may have headed east or into the shopping plaza.

PLEASE HELP US FIND HIM!!!
