Masked Sculpture: Photo Of The Day

It was wildfire smoke and not COVID that prompted this scene.

SONOMA, CA — It would be a good guess to think that this photo was taken during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this snapshot was actually taken in October 2017 when someone put a mask on the sculpture of General Vallejo sitting on a bench at the City of Sonoma Plaza because of smoky conditions due to a wildfire.
