New Year Dawns At Shollenberger Park: Petaluma Photo Of The Week

PETALUMA, CA — Petaluma Patch reader Tracy Rose sent in this photo he took on a previous New Year's Day at sunrise at Shollenberger Park in Petaluma.

"For me, it was a reminder of how we can always have new beginnings," Rose said.

Rose is a nature photographer whose book,"Beyond the View," will soon be available for purchase from Copperfield's Books.

"My photos and legends (captions) are written by my father," Rose told Patch. "He is 87 and wrote articles for many national publications in his day."
