Now It's #RockyFire Blazing In North Bay

As of Wednesday night, the fire was at 1,000 acres in Lake County.

As the weeklong Wragg Fire of Napa and Solano counties nears 80 percent containment with 7,500 acres burned, now tonight in Lake County, another fire, dubbed #RockyFire, is at 1,000 acres. The blaze was first reported at 150 acres this afternoon at 4 p.m. in terrain described as heavy brush and timber.

Evacuations are in place for residents on the north side of Morgan Valley Road for five miles east of Bonham Road, Cal Fire said.

The fire is traveling a rapid rate of spread, officials said. Personnel total 171 at the scene, and additional resources have been ordered. Temperatures are approximately 100 degrees, Cal Fire said.
