Officers are canvassing for surveillance footage and witnesses, and residents with information are urged to contact Petaluma police at 707-778-4372.

• 72-year-old outsmarted her family to build the retirement life she wanted (latination.com) — A 72-year-old Petaluma resident, Kathie Schwartz, invested about $280,000 and a year of permitting to build a modern tiny house behind her primary home instead of moving to a retirement community.
