Petaluma Police Investigate Report Of Airsoft Gun Assault On Teen
Investigators were searching for the suspect in a drive-by airsoft shooting that caused minor injury.
PETALUMA, CA — A teenager was walking along a road in Petaluma on Friday when he was shot in the face with an airsoft gun by a person driving by, police said.
Authorities were searching for the suspect involved, possibly another teenager around 15 years old, the Petaluma Police Department said in a statement.
The teen was shot around 3 p.m. while walking on Casa Grande Road near Crinella Drive. A silver SUV slowed down and drove near the victim.

The assault caused the victim minor pain but it did not inflect visible injury, police said.
The victim told police the suspect appeared to be a Hispanic male, around 15 years old with long black hair.
