Petaluma PD Needs Help IDing These Suspected Thieves

The theft was from Big 5 Sporting Goods on North McDowell Boulevard.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of stealing baseball equipment from a Big 5 Sporting Goods store Thursday night in Petaluma.

The incident occurred at 105 N. McDowell Blvd. at approximately 8:30 p.m., according to police.

The first suspect, a 6 foot tall black man with a thin build between 20 and 30 years old, acted as a lookout.

The second suspect, a 6 foot tall man with a heavy-set build between 20 and 30 years old, stole a baseball bat and clothing, according to police. Both suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
