Petaluma PD Seeks To ID Credit Card Theft Suspects

A credit card stolen during a residential burglary in Petaluma was used at Walmart in Rohnert Park, police say.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Petaluma police looked to the public Friday to help identify two people suspected of using a Petaluma resident's stolen credit card to make purchases at Walmart in Rohnert Park. According to Petaluma police Sgt. Rich Cox, the pair pictured in the above surveillance images entered Walmart, 4625 Redwood Drive in Rohnert Park, at 7:29 a.m. March 15 and made two separate transactions with the card to buy miscellaneous goods.

The card they used was stolen during a residential burglary in Petaluma, the sergeant said.

Police described the first suspect as a white woman in her 30s who has light brown hair and was wearing a white shirt, a blue or gray jacket, ripped blue jeans and black sneakers.

The second suspect, police said, is a Hispanic man in his 30s who has short black hair and a mustache. He wore a black leather jacket, a white t-shirt and black shoes.

The duo drove away from the store in a silver Honda CRV that had rear tinted windows and was equipped with two top racks, Cox said.

The SUV had California license plates but the plate number is not known, he said.
