Petaluma Police Arrest Man Accused Of Stabbing Victim
A 21-year-old Santa Rosa resident was arrested after police said he stabbed a victim in Petaluma.
PETALUMA, CA — Officers in Petaluma arrested a man early Saturday morning after he was accused of stabbing a victim, police said.
Police were dispatched to the area of Petaluma Boulevard North and B Street around 2:50 a.m., where a witness said the suspect fled in a vehicle, the Petaluma Police Department said in a statement.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault. Shortly after, officers found a vehicle matching the description provided by the witness.

Santa Rosa resident Kevin Garcia Cruz, 21, was identified as the suspect. He was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, authorities said.
