Both men appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances and one of the men, 33-year-old Siddhartha Suri, was in possession of illicit narcotics, Petaluma police Sgt. Paul Gilman said.
"Among the items seized during the investigation was suspected fentanyl, suspected heroin, a mixture of fentanyl and heroin, and pills," Gilman said Friday. "Also located was evidence that Suri possessed the narcotics with the intent to distribute."
