Deputies Lift Shelter-Indoors Alert In Forestville

FORESTVILLE, CA – The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office shortly before 7 p.m. today lifted its shelter-in-place order for some residents of Forestville saying the law enforcement issue was "resolved."

"Residents may return to the area," deputies said, but provided no additional details.

Deputies earlier in the evening were attempting to contact a wanted subject, who was in a home on the 13000 block of Green Valley Road.

Due to law enforcement activity on the 13000 block of Green Valley Road in Forestville, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office this evening asked area residents to remain indoors.

A wanted subject was inside a home, deputies said in a brief statement.

The alert was issued at approximately 5:15 p.m.
