Residents can now enroll in the Property Tax e-Billing System.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Sonoma County residents can now subscribe to receive their tax bill via email to help reduce costs and conserve local resources, county officials announced Monday. Residents can enroll in the Property Tax e-Billing System by visiting the county's website. Those who enroll by Sept. 1 will receive an online version of their bill for secured property tax payments due Dec. 11 and also April 10, 2018, according to the county.
"We are always looking for new and innovative ways to protect our environment and encourage our community members to sign up for this convenient new service," Sonoma County Board of Supervisors chairman Shirlee Zane said in a statement.
Residents can pay their property taxes online via an eCheck with a $1.50 convenience fee or by credit or debit card with a 2.34-percent convenience fee. There is also a pay-by-phone payment option by calling 888-636-8418.
