Sonoma County Registrar Announces New 'Where's My Ballot' Program

Sonoma County is one of 26 California election offices currently offering the real-time tracking information for vote-by-mail voters.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Sonoma County voters can sign up for vote-by-mail ballot tracking through the California Secretary of State’s "Where’s My Ballot" program, the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters announced Thursday.

The program provides voters real-time information about the location of their ballot from the time it is mailed until it is returned to the Registrar of Voters Office.

"This is an exciting opportunity for our County to participate in a program to increase transparency around the ballot process, allow voters to receive status updates on their ballots, and help our office communicate important information to voters," Sonoma County Clerk Deva Marie Proto said in a news release.
