Berkeley singer-songwriter brings his critically acclaimed folk-Latin-blues to Petaluma

Berkeley-based singer-songwriter-guitarist Steve Taylor-Ramírez brings his critically acclaimed folk-Latin-blues experience to Pub Republic Petaluma on Friday, June 12 at 9:00 pm. The Taylor-Ramirez Duo, featuring Kaeli Earle on upright bass, will play two sets.

Located at 3120 Lakeville Highway, Suite A in Petaluma, Pub Republic offers urban pub cuisine – quality burgers, salads, fish & chips, steak and seafood – with an emphasis on local and fresh, including unique local beers on tap. It’s a comfortable, lively, neighborhood pub where families, business people and young adults gather. For more details: www.pubrepublicusa.com.

Steve Taylor-Ramírez has been named a “Critic’s Choice” by the East Bay Express, Bay Area News Group and UC Berkeley. Listeners say his mix of folk, Latin and blues crosses boundaries. You can find his music at http://www.reverbnation.com/stevetaylorramirez and on Pandora.com Internet radio.

A former guitarist for the house band at Oakland’s Park Blvd. Church, Taylor-Ramírez plays regularly at popular Bay Area venues. His songs have aired on radio stations KALW, KUSF, KYCY and KECG. He’s appeared live on NPR affiliate KALW, KUSF, KALX and Pirate Cat Radio (SF, LA and Berlin). His TV appearances include Univision KDTV’s evening news, Berkeley’s BTV Ch. 28 and the late performance-artist Frank Moore’s “Shaman’s Den.”
