PETALUMA, CA — Patch reader Terri Satterfield sent in this lovely photo of the sun shining down on the Petaluma River, creating a shimmery glow.

The view is looking southeast from McNear Landing, Terri said in an email to Patch, adding that the picture was taken three weeks ago on an iPhone 7.
